CSKA exchanged hockey player Grudinin for Severstal for monetary compensation

CSKA defender traded Vladimir Grudinin to Severstal Cherepovets for monetary compensation, the club’s press service reports.

The 19-year-old hockey player spent five seasons in the military club system. In 2022, as part of the Red Army, he reached the final of the Kharlamov Cup and won silver medals in the Youth Hockey League.

In the same season, Grudinin made his debut in the KHL and, together with CSKA, won the Gagarin Cup. In total, he played 42 matches for the main team of the club, in which he scored 3 (1+2) points with a utility indicator of “+12”.
