Datsyuk’s team out in force took to the ice to try to level the score in Semin’s farewell game

Crew Pavel Datsyuk in force took to the ice at the end of the hockey player’s farewell game Alexandra Semina in Krasnoyarsk, which was called the “Match of world hockey stars – legendary overtime.”

The episode happened in the last minute of the third period with the score 10:9 in favor of the Semin team. Players from Datsyuk’s team ran across the ice in an attempt to tie the score, but failed to send the puck into the opponent’s goal. The judges did not interfere with the hockey players and did not record a violation of numerical strength, or a violation of goalkeeper Alexander Sudnitsin, who also joined the attack and entered a foreign zone.

The match featured five-time Gagarin Cup winner Danis Zaripov, Dallas goalkeeper Anton Khudobin, Salavat Yulaev head coach Viktor Kozlov and ten-time world bandy champion Sergei Lomanov.

A native of Krasnoyarsk, Semin played in the NHL for Washington, Carolina and Montreal, played 650 games in the regular season, scored 517 (239 + 278) points. As part of the Russian national team, he played in two Olympics, twice became world champion.
