Continental Hockey League (KHL ) is conducting an investigation into the incident with the Khabarovsk attacker “Cupid » Alexander Khokhlachev the KHL press service told .
On Sunday, the Telegram 112 channel reported that Khokhlachev, after Amur’s home defeat to Ak Bars Kazan (2:3, overtime) in the Fonbet KHL championship match, jumped on a local resident’s car. On Monday, the Khabarovsk club apologized to fans for the hockey player’s behavior and announced that he would be fined.
“The Kontinental Hockey League is currently investigating this incident,” the KHL told .
Khokhlachev became an Amur player at the end of August, after playing for Spartak Moscow. This season, the 30-year-old striker has scored three goals and provided six assists in 16 matches.
