Russian goalkeeper Sergei Bobrovsky moved to second place in victories in history “Florida” ahead of American goalkeeper John Vanbiesbrouck in this indicator, reports the club’s press service.
The Russian goaltender stopped 29 of 30 shots in the NHL regular season match against Toronto (3:1). Bobrovsky now has 107 victories in 189 matches with the Panthers, clearly placing himself in second place in the club’s history, ahead of Vanbiesbrouck (106 victories).
The record is held by Canadian goaltender Roberto Luongo, member of the Hockey Hall of Fame (230 victories).
