Washington forward Alexander Ovechkin for the second time in his career, he did not score a single goal in four games at the start of the NHL season.
Alexander Ovechkin’s assist did not save Washington from defeat in the NHL match against Montreal. On Sunday night, Washington lost to Montreal in overtime in an NHL regular season game with a score of 2:3. Thus, Ovechkin did not score in any of Washington’s four games at the start of the season.
The first time this happened was in the 2012/2013 season. After a goal drought that season, Ovechkin scored 32 goals in 48 regular season games.
