Athletistic / Hockey. Edmonton Oilers captain and forward Connor McDavid suffered an upper body injury during the NHL regular season game against the Winnipeg Jets (2:3 in overtime). For this reason, the 26-year-old Canadian will miss the Oilers’ next games.
According to Edmonton’s official website, McDavid will be out for one to two weeks due to injury. This season, Connor played 5 matches and scored 8 (2+6) points using the goal+pass system.
The Oilers have had a bad start to the season. In five games, Jay Woodcroft’s men have scored three points and occupy 13th place in the NHL Western Conference standings. Edmonton will play its next game on the evening of October 25, when it will visit the Minnesota Wild.
