The team of Vadim Shakhraichuk already in the first period removed the question of the winner, scoring three goals. Only in the last 20 minutes did the Capitals allow their opponents to score.
Andrey Krivonozhkin scored a hat-trick in the match. Nikita Oleynik scored six assists. Also making his debut for the Capitals was 17-year-old goaltender Nazar Boyko.
Shakhraichuk’s team scored 13 points and occupy second place in the 2023/24 Ukrainian Championship table. Trident with three points is in fifth place.
