A regular season match was played in the National Hockey League last night.
After all 32 clubs took to their respective NHL rinks yesterday, the league had a day off today. The fans only saw one game, but what a game!
New Jersey hosted Washington on its own court and lost a furious match. Note that the teams alternate failing segments of the game. In the first period, the capital scored three goals against the hosts. In the second, the “devils” ran amok over their visitors, scoring four clean sheets against their opponents. However, in the decisive 20 minutes, New Jersey’s defense failed again, allowing three dry goals in their own goal. 6:4 – in favor of Washington.
