Help from the Russian defender Pavel Mintyukova helped Anaheim earn a road win over Boston in an NHL game.
Boston lost to Anaheim at home in overtime with a score of 3:4 and suffered its first NHL defeat of the season.
The winners were Radko Gudas, Leo Karlsson, Troy Terry and Mason McTavish. Anaheim tied the score 15 seconds before the end of the third period; Mintyukov completed the pass to Troy Terry. In seven games this season, Mintyukov has one goal and three assists.
In another match of the day, Dallas lost at home to Toronto – 1:4.
