PHC CSKA announced the departure of coach Koreshkov

Press service CSKA announced the departure of the coach Evgenia Koreshkova.

The specialist has been working in the army team’s coaching staff since the 2018/19 season, when the club won the Gagarin Cup twice.

— Evgeny Koreshkov has done an excellent job. I would like to thank him both on behalf of the club and on my own behalf. He was an important part of the coaching staff, helping me to continue my coaching journey. I am immensely grateful to him: he is an excellent specialist and an excellent coach. I wish him fruitful work in the field of coaching and, above all, health, – said the head coach of CSKA Sergei Fedorov.

Igor Kravchuk, a famous Soviet and Russian hockey player, defender, honorary master of sports, joined the CSKA coaching staff. As a player, he spent 5 seasons with CSKA and together with the team twice became champion of the USSR (1988, 1989), once won the National Cup (1988) and won the Cup Europe three times (1987, 1988, 1989).

He also played for various NHL teams for 12 years, where he played in 699 games and scored 274 points (64+210).
