Athletistic/Hockey. American sports journalist Matthew Zator from The Hockey Writers magazine has compiled a ranking of the ten best Russian hockey players playing in the National Hockey League. Only active players were included in this list.

Tampa Bay Lightning forward Nikita Kucherov took first place. In second place is Washington Capitals captain Alexander Ovechkin. Tampa goalkeeper Andrei Vasilevsky took third place.

Interestingly, this ranking includes seven forwards and three goalkeepers.
