Athletistic / Hockey. Legendary striker Paul Stastny has announced his retirement. The 37-year-old hockey player’s last team was the Carolina Hurricanes.
Paul was selected 44th overall in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft by the Colorado Avalanche. The American spent eight seasons with the Avalanche. Then, for four years, he delighted the fans of the St. Louis Blues with his game. Further in his career there were the Winnipeg Jets and the Vegas Golden Knights. In total, Paul Stastny played 1,145 games in the regular NHL championships.
As a member of Team USA, Stastny won a silver medal at the 2010 Olympic Games in Vancouver, Canada, as well as a bronze medal at the 2013 World Championships in Sweden and Finland.
