Russian goalkeeper Ivan Prosvetov help “Colorado” beat “Saint Louis” during the NHL regular season game and was recognized as the third star of the game.
Colorado won at home against St. Louis with a score of 4:1. Prosvetov was on the ice for the entire game and stopped 27 shots. The Russian played his second match for Colorado; in his first game (against Pittsburgh), the 24-year-old goalie entered the ice in the third period, replacing Alexander Georgiev.
For Colorado, Ross Colton, Mikko Rantanen, Artturi Lehkonen and Bowen Byram scored goals. Robert Thomas scored for St. Louis.
Prosvetov found himself in Colorado’s system in October, when the Avalanche took the Russian out of the draft on waivers, where Arizona had previously placed him.
