Varlamov played zero again and did not allow Ovechkin to score in the NHL game

Russian goaltender for the New York Islanders Semyon Varlamov played zero again and did not allow Washington’s Russian striker to score Alexander Ovechkin in an NHL game.

Washington lost at home to the New York Islanders on Friday night with a score of 0:3. Varlamov kept a clean sheet for the second time this season, stopping 31 shots. Ovechkin did not show any effective action and finished the meeting with a useful score of “-3”.

This NHL season, Ovechkin participated in 9 games and scored 8 (2+6) points.

Ovechkin has scored 824 career NHL regular season goals. The Russian ranks second on the list of best snipers in league history, behind Wayne Gretzky’s 70 goals (894).
