Athletistic / Hockey. The official fan club of St. Petersburg SKA sent a complaint to KHL President Alexei Morozov. He talks about the unfairness of the regular season schedule.

The day before, SKA lost to Avangard with a score of 3:5. This defeat was the third in a row for the St. Petersburg team. Currently, they are only in 9th place in the Western Conference.

“Alexey Alekseevich, we would like to inform you that the schedule for this season is drawn up extremely unprofessionally and is not convenient for fans.

We are extremely disappointed not to be able to see our team!

Rotenberg expressed his bewilderment after a fight during the match between SKA and Avangard

Last year, we got used to the fact that, with rare exceptions, there was an alternation in the calendar: three home matches – three away matches.

This season, this pattern has been replaced by real chaos – either we play six matches in a row on the road, after the Far East we fly to Sochi and Minsk, then we have six matches in a row at home in January.

In the first two months, the team played 22 matches, only eight of which were at home! We want to see more of our team in Ice!

Such a schedule simply discourages interest in hockey and does not allow us to support the team on the road,” the fan club letter states.

Recall that SKA head coach Roman Rotenberg previously expressed his dissatisfaction with the schedule.
