“I have been in love with hockey since I was three years old. Since then I have lived for the game. Now that feeling has not changed.
However, it is difficult to cope with stress and pressure. The time came when I had to announce my retirement.

Tikhonov also played for Arizona, Chicago and in the KHL for Severstal and Ak Bars.
