“We have a tradition on the team that when someone scores a goal, their chosen song is played in the arena in their honor. Initially, I had a different song. But around that time, “Winter in the Heart” went viral. And when I was asked which shot should correspond to my goals, I thought this: above all, we play for the fans. And they came with posters, everyone liked the song. I decided I absolutely had to wear it.

— Where did you have this meeting?
— And we had a day off in Torpedo, we were in Moscow. We arrived at the studio and exchanged gifts. I handed her a sweater from our club with her husband’s name on it. We took photos and talked. Very interesting – it was my first time in a music studio and they gave me a mini tour.
— We could invite “My Michelle” to the KHL All-Star Game in St. Petersburg.
– I thought about it. But she’s very busy, so I’m not sure. But maybe it’s worth inviting,” Konyushkov told .
