Athletistic/Hockey. Pittsburgh Penguins goaltender Magnus Hellberg shared his expectations for his possible appearance on the ice during the game against the Los Angeles Kings. The Swede could make his debut with the Penguins on the evening of November 10.
“Obviously, when you know you’re starting the game, it’s always nice. Instead of coming into the game in the middle. That’s exactly what I want now.
I made my NHL debut five years ago. Then I had ups and downs, but it didn’t go the way I wanted. Then I took a different path, but now I’m here again. Usually people do the opposite and end their careers abroad. But I’m happy with the progress of my career. I am very happy to be back in the United States now.
I want to get back to my previous level and show everyone what I can do. I take every opportunity to demonstrate myself, to show what kind of goalkeeper I am and who I am as a person. So I’m just trying to live in the moment,” Hellberg said, according to the Pittsburgh Press Service.
The main goalie of the Penguins, Tristan Jerry, was injured in the match against the Anaheim Ducks (2:0). And Magnus Hellberg played in the KHL from 2017 to 2022, where he played for SKA, Sochi and Kunlun Red Star.
