In the first match of the hockey tournament, the Russian women’s team and the Russian youth team under 16 met. The match ended with a score of 16:0 in favor of the juniors. They managed 49 shots in the opposing goal compared to 8 shots from the girls.
Andrey Molgachev scored a hat-trick for the Russian junior team. Nikita Gromakov, Andrey Pustovoy and Maxim Seldemirov also scored twice.

The next opponent of the Russian juniors will be the Kazakhstan U-18 team. The women’s team will face Belarus U-18.
