— I noticed strange things happening around SKA. There are people who “stir up” the situation around the SKA. This is why Roman Rotenberg is nervous. I would be nervous too. Working in a hockey club is a difficult process. I think that no club can boast of occupying high places in our hockey for 10-15 years. It doesn’t happen that way.
– Is the SKA like that?
– Yes. SKA has had its ups and now the team finds itself in a more difficult situation. There is a change in the squad, the arrival of new players, there are a lot of nuances that do not allow the team to play as well as it can. But you saw the hockey: SKA played well against Traktor. It’s just bad luck: either one second before the final siren they miss the “Spartak”, or 26 seconds before the final siren they miss the “Traktor”. And this is not the first time. It’s clear that this is how a fan works: he always wants results, victories. But we, the experts, try to explain to them that everything is not right.
– Everyone thinks about the extent of their depravity.
“This means that the appearance of the banner on the podium is fake.” Can you explain to us which system is not suitable for you? If we talk about the club system, it works: the SKA-1946 team successfully plays in the MHL, the SKA-Neva team occupies leading positions in the VHL. The SKA team is fighting to get out of this prolonged crisis. What system are we talking about? About the game system? I haven’t heard anyone talk about SKA as a purely systemic team. She plays creative hockey, maybe too much. And then there is Lokomotiv – this team operates within a strict system. Different hockey, different styles – and that’s good. There should be criticism, why not, but it should be correct and constructive,” Cherkas said, as quoted by RB Sport.
