Dmitry Khristich’s team will end the tournament on November 11 with a match against Italy
Ukrainian national hockey team lost in a productive shootout Slovenia on Tomasz Sarkozy memorial – 4:5.
In the first period, the Slovenes took the lead twice. In the second period, the Balkan team led 2:1, but Dmitry Khristich’s team managed to level the score.
Once again, the Ukrainians bounced back in the 49th minute. However, they did not have time to respond to Jan Cosic’s goal at the very end of the match.
Let us remind you that in the first round the Ukrainian team beat the hosts of the tournament, the Hungarian national team, with a similar score of 5:4.
Having suffered a defeat, Khristich’s team dropped to third place in the quartet.
The Ukrainians will finish the tournament with a match against Italy on November 11.
