Athletistic/Hockey. Washington Capitals captain and forward Alexander Ovechkin failed to score a goal in the NHL regular season away match against the New Jersey Devils (4:2). The 38-year-old Russian scored an assist last night.
In 12 matches this season, the 38-year-old Russian has scored just two goals. This is the worst Great Eight result of his career to this point since the start of the season. In the 2008/2009 season, he scored only 3 goals in 12 matches. It is noteworthy that at the end of this season, Ovechkin scored 56 goals and became the best sniper in the entire league.
The last time Ovechkin scored a goal was six games ago. Washington will play its next game on the night of November 12, against the New York Islanders.
