Yaroslavsky “Locomotive” won victory over “Salavat Yulaev” (3:1) in the Fonbet KHL championship thanks to three goals from their 18-year-old students.
The striker scored two goals Daniel Booth the author of another goal was the defender Dmitry Simashev for whom the goal of the KHL was his start in his career.
Pavel Koledov scored the hosts’ only goal early in the second period.
Let’s add that Booth and Simashev were selected in the first round of the 2023 NHL draft by the same team, Arizona. Simashev left with the 6th number overall and the first among the Russians, Bout was chosen 12th.
Lokomotiv scored 38 points and rose to third place in the Western Conference, beating Torpedo in additional indicators. Salavat (35 years old) is 6th in the East.
