After a verbal skirmish between the presenter and the deputy, Guberniev disconnected from the live broadcast with the phrase: “I’m not going to live with idiots.”
“Guberniev raised the situation with the goalkeeper of the Russian national hockey team from a political point of view and asked why Ovechkin, or someone else, did not speak out. He comments on the biathlon – let him comment there. My position was that he should focus on his job and not mislead people,” Khamzaev said.
