Former goalkeeper of several clubs KHL Alexey Krasikov told how he prepared for matches against his former club – “Siberia” .
The goalkeeper played for the Novosibirsk club from 2016 to 2020. After that, Krasikov played in the KHL for Sochi and Spartak. Currently, he defends the colors of the Liptovsky Mikulas club in the Slovak championship.
— Were the matches against Siberia good? I knew the core of the players, we worked on a lot of their nuances. I remember when my close friend Sashka Sharov took the penalty, I knew what he would do, because he and I had practiced this trick hundreds of times. I wanted to win because I spent most of my career and conscious life on this team. This is the town I moved to when I was young and where I became [там] a man.
This team means a lot to me. I gave everything one hundred percent – here I had to control my emotions to win. In Novosibirsk, we received a pleasant and warm welcome from the supporters, who never forget the former players. It was nice during and after the match. I could say thank you to them for all the seasons I spent here,” Krasikov said at the Championship.
