Athletistic/Hockey. North American ESPN journalist Greg Wyszynski compiled a list of the ten best candidates for admission to the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2024. The ranking included four Russian athletes, with the first three places occupied by representatives of the Russian Federation.

Topping the list is forward Pavel Datsyuk, who is on the Hall of Fame ballot for the first time. Alexander Mogilny took second place (15th time), third place went to Ilya Kovalchuk (1st time). Defender Sergei Gonchar took sixth place (7th time).
