According to ESPN, the 34-year-old hockey player, an unrestricted free agent, will hold negotiations with eight teams over the next few days. Detroit, Buffalo and Florida are particularly interested in him.
In June, Kane underwent knee surgery and was out for six months. The American forward spent the second half of last season with the New York Rangers after being traded from Chicago. In total, he played 73 regular season matches last season, in which he scored 57 points (21 goals + 36 assists).
