Spartak Moscow forward Nikolai Goldobin set a club record for goals in a KHL regular season.
SATURDAY “Spartacus” hosts Togliatti “Lada” in the regular season match of the Fonbet KHL championship. Goldobin scored the puck in the 15th minute and made the score 3:0. For the 28-year-old striker, this is the 23rd goal of the current regular season. He surpassed the performances of former Red-White players Stefan Ružicka , Ryan Stoa And Sergei Chirokov who scored 22 goals in one season.
Moreover, Goldobin led the sniper race of the current season in the KHL, ahead of American striker from Omsk Avangrad Reed Boucher (22 goals).
