Attack “Washington” Evgeny Kuznetsov will not participate in the regular season game NHL against “Columbus” due to illness, reports journalist Tariq el-Bashir, citing Capitals head coach Spencer Carbery.
The Russian missed the team’s training on Friday and Saturday and will be examined on Monday. The game against Columbus will take place Saturday in Washington.
This season, 31-year-old Kuznetsov played 14 matches and scored 8 points (3 goals and 5 assists).
Washington is sixth in the NHL Eastern Conference standings with 18 points after 14 games.
