Club forward NHL Boston Bruins Milan Lucic arrested after a “domestic incident,” reports Bleacher Report, citing journalist Duke Castiglione.

As noted in the document, the attacker was arrested on Saturday morning in Boston. The club released a statement on the situation, noting that the player is “taking leave for an indefinite period.”

— The Boston Bruins are aware of the incident involving Milan Lucic Friday night. The organization takes these matters very seriously and will work with the Lucic family to provide them with any support and assistance they may need. We will have no further comment at this time,” the statement said.

Lucic signed a one-year contract with the Bruins during the offseason. In total, the 35-year-old Canadian played 1,177 games in the NHL and scored 586 points (233 goals + 353 assists).
