Kyiv Capitals beat Dnieper in a regular season match Ukrainian hockey championship with a crushing score of 7:2.
Before this round, the teams were level, but the Kiev team took second place thanks to a better goal difference.
However, the confrontation was equal only at the end of the first period, which brought a 1:1 draw. Then the capital team played out: it won the second period with a score of 2:0, and the third – 4:1. Vladislav Kutsevich scored a hat-trick, Yaroslav Panchenko scored two accurate shots.
The convincing victory allowed the Kiev team to gain a three-point lead over their pursuers. Dnepr remained third, although with a match in reserve.
On November 22, the Kyiv Capitals will meet with the Kharkov Berserkers, and Dnepr will fight with Kremenchug on the 23rd.
