Pittsburgh forward called Malkin a Hockey Hall of Fame player

Attack Pittsburgh Penguins Reilly Smith praised his Russian teammate’s level of play Evgenia Malkina .

“Before I started playing with him, I didn’t understand that he was looking for open space, not the quickest route to the goal. He is an excellent player who knows how to deceive his opponents and create more space.

It’s no coincidence that he played so many games in the NHL and scored a lot of points. Malkin is a Hall of Fame hockey player,” Smith told the NHL website.

Malkin won the Stanley Cup three times with Pittsburgh. In total, the Russian played 1,081 matches in the regular NHL championships, scored 480 goals and made 767 assists. This season, the 37-year-old striker has 18 points (9+9) in 18 matches.
