Saint PETERSBOURG SKA defeated Moscow “Spartacus” during a home match of the regular season of the Fonbet KHL Championship.
The match ended with a score of 3:2 (1:0, 1:2, 1:0). Among the winners, Vladimir Alistrov, Mikhail Vorobyov and Alexander Nikishin scored goals. Maxim Tsyplakov and Andrey Loktionov scored for the Red and White. Spartak forward Nikolai Goldobin scored an assist and was the first to reach the 50-point mark this season.
Spartak remains leader of the Western Conference with 49 points, SKA won its seventh consecutive victory and is in fifth place with 40 points.
In the next match, Alexei Zhamnov’s team will face Metallurg Magnitogorsk, at the top of the Eastern Conference standings, on Saturday. SKA will host Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod on the same day.
