Chief Referee of the KHL Alexey Anisimov spoke about the canceled puck during the Fonbet KHL Championship regular season match between Yaroslavl Lokomotiv and SKA St. Petersburg.
The meeting took place in Yaroslavl on November 18 and ended with a score of 2:1 in favor of the guests. The home team scored the second goal at the same time as the final siren, but the goal was overturned due to a violation after the puck was handed over.
– In modern hockey and with the interpretation methodology we have published for throw-ins, this is a good goal. There is nothing to add here. I don’t know what kind of bee bit him (the referee). There are a sufficient number of such moments during the game.
Formally, there were grounds (to cancel the goal), but all teams want to take the throw-in faster. In modern hockey it is impossible to make a clean throw-in,” Anisimov said during the “Referees” show on the KHL channel.
