Athletistic/Hockey. Toronto general manager Kyle Dubas has commented on reports about the futures of Russian Maple Leafs players Ilya Lyubushkin and Ilya Mikheev.

“Things can change. Until we close the issue of a new contract with Mikheev. If not, then we had a good three years with him.

As for Lyubushkin, we have to look at our abilities based on his role and his time on the pitch. We’re happy to keep him, but it would be a great opportunity for him to sign as a free agent without compensation,” Dubas said.

Earlier, it was reported that Ilya Mikheev could be traded as the club couldn’t meet his salary demands.
