Three-time Stanley Cup winner Kane signs with Detroit

Attack Patrick Kane who missed the start of the regular season of the National Hockey League, signed a contract with Detroit, reports the club’s press service.

The agreement with the 35-year-old hockey player runs until the end of this season. The contract amount was $2.75 million.

In the summer of 2023, Kane underwent surgery on a hip injury and was an unrestricted free agent while recovering.

Kane was the first overall pick in the 2007 NHL Draft. As a member of Chicago, he became a three-time Stanley Cup winner. In February 2023, the attacker was traded to the New York Rangers, whom he left at the end of the season.

In total, he played 1,180 matches in the regular season, in which he scored 1,237 (451+786) points. Among active NHL players, he ranks fourth in career points after Sydney Crosby , Alexandra Ovechkina And Evgenia Malkina .
