Athletistic/Hockey. Chelyabinsk Traktor general director Alexey Volkov said goalkeeper Zach Fucale left the club for family reasons.
“I can confirm this development of events. Vyachesla Buteets will help Traktor in this part of the season. This goalkeeper performs well in Chelmet matches and is already ripe for his debut in the KHL.
Zach Fucale’s second child should be born literally in the next few hours, so according to the initial agreements, even before signing the contract, Zach will spend several days alongside his wife in Canada,” Volkov said as quoted by “Championship.”
This season, Fucale played in 27 KHL regular season games and stopped 92.5% of shots. The Canadian previously played in the NHL with the Washington Capitals. Instead, Chelmet goalkeeper Vyacheslav Buteets will join Traktor’s main lineup.
