Hockey player contract Corey Perry With “Chicago Blackhawks will be fired after following the waiver project procedure, journalist Frank Seravalli reported on social networks.
It was previously reported that the 38-year-old had been placed on draft waivers in order to terminate the deal.
The Chicago management previously announced that the hockey player would be absent from the team in the near future. Reports emerged on social media that Perry may have been suspended due to a sexual relationship with the mother of his teammate, 2023 first-round draft pick Connor Bedard. According to ESPN, Perry’s suspension stemmed from an incident involving a Blackhawks employee.
Player agent Pat Morris said Perry left Chicago for personal reasons.
Perry is a Stanley Cup winner with Anaheim, a two-time Olympic champion and world champion.
