Three Russian hockey players were caught trying to pay a bribe to be exempted from conscription into the army, criminal case documents have been filed by the Leninsky court in Ufa. RIA Novosti writes about this, citing a source in court.

– The Leninsky District Court received elements of criminal cases under part 4 of article 291 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (bribe) against three hockey players: Anvar Suleymanov, Vladislav Lukin and Mikhail Vorobiev . A review date has not yet been set. According to the law, the judge has time for this, since, according to the decision of the investigator, hockey players are under house arrest, reports RIA Novosti.

Last week it became known that the goalkeeper of CSKA Ivan Fedotov was detained in St. Petersburg on suspicion of escaping the army. Later, the hockey player was taken to Severodvinsk for military service.

25-year-old forward Lukin took to the ice three times in the last KHL championship with the Admiral. Another 25-year-old forward, Vorobyov, played 57 games for SKA, scoring 27 (7+20) points. He is the bronze medalist of the MFM-2017 within the Russian team. 22-year-old goalkeeper Suleimanov played in the NMHL for Metallurg Serov in the 2020/21 season.
