In each of them there were strong-willed victories. Columbus Blue Jackets took the lead twice against Montreal Canadiensbut the record holder for the number of Stanley Cups managed to prevail – 4:2. New York Rangers at home opened the score against Detroit Red Wingsthen conceded twice, but still turned the tide of the game in their favor – 3:2.
Los Angeles Kings were close to extending their five-game winning streak when they opened the scoring against Washington Capitals. But the guests quickly equalized, and at the end of the second period they scored the winning goal – 2:1.
