The match in Kazan ended with a score of 3:2 in favor of the home team. Yashkin was injured during a throw-in and unsuccessfully fell to the ice. After that, the 30-year-old hockey player went to the locker room, accompanied by team employees, and no longer participated in the match.
As reported on the KHL website, Yashkin left the arena by ambulance and was taken to the hospital.
