Two-time Olympic champion Corrie Perry was kicked out of Chicago after her actions.

An amazing scandal has erupted in one of the most famous NHL teams, the Chicago BlackHawks. Team management terminated the contract with one of its most decorated hockey players: two-time Olympic champion and 2007 Stanley Cup winner Corrie Perry.

According to The Athletic, Chicago sent the 38-year-old forward to the waiver draft, after which he finally terminated the agreement with the player.

Meanwhile, Canucks Daily talked about the reasons for this decision. The severe punishment was applied to the player because Perry had sex with the mother of his teammate, 18-year-old first pick of this year’s draft, Connor Bedard.

As the journalists suggest, the affair between the married Melanie Bedard and a hockey player may have taken place during the Mom’s travel campaign, where the mothers of the hockey players traveled with the team in the against.

Meanwhile, the management of the “black hawks” did not discuss the reason for the dismissal of the hockey player. According to Blackhawks general manager Kyle Davidson, the cause was a “workplace” conflict.

“This topic is not about any players or their families, and anything that suggests otherwise, or anyone who suggests otherwise, is grossly inaccurate and, frankly, despicable. It’s a difficult that situation,” Davidson said.

Soon Perry himself made the statement. He apologized for his actions, saying he had a drinking problem.

“I am ashamed and let you all down. Above all, I want to apologize directly to those affected and I am sorry that it affected others. My behavior was inappropriate and wrong.

I began working with mental health and substance abuse experts to discuss my alcohol problems. I will take all necessary steps to ensure that this does not happen again. I hope I can regain the trust and respect of everyone who believed in me throughout my career,” said Perry.

The hockey player’s agent, Pat Morris, confirmed his client’s words the same day, saying that he left the team to “solve personal problems.”

Note that before his dismissal, the experienced striker missed three matches in Chicago in the championship.

We remind you that earlier the coach of the Ukrainian national hockey team spoke about his conversation with the Russian Ovechkin during a visit to the NHL team.
