Three Russians selected in first round of 2022 NHL Draft

Montreal hosted the first round of the 2022 NHL Draft.

According to its results, three Russian hockey players were chosen by the league clubs.

At number 10, Russian guard Pavel Mintyukov was drafted by Anaheim. Offensive Ivan Miroshnichenko at number 20, selected by Washington, and Minnesota drafted forward Daniela Yourova at number 24.

Under the first number, the Slovak Juraj Slafkovsky was chosen by the Montreal club.

4. Seattle – Shane Wright, Canada

7. Chicago (from Ottawa) – Kevin Korchinski, Canada

8. Detroit – Marco Kasper, Austria

9. “Buffalo” – Matthew Savoy, Canada.

10. Anaheim – Pavel Mintyukov, Russia…

20. “Washington” – Ivan Miroshnichenko, Russia …

24. Minnesota – Danila Yurov, Russia
