The capital’s team scored a goal each in the second and third periods, while managing to keep their goal intact. Vsevolod Tolstushko and Vadim Mazur made effective shots.
The victory allowed Sokol to temporarily return to first place in the Favbet-league standings. However, today the Kyiv Capitals will be able to move their neighbors if they beat Kremenchug.
Dnepr lost the third match in a row and remained fourth in the standings. Both teams will play against the outsider, the Kharkov Berserkers, in the next championship matches.
