Washington coach called Kuznetsov’s absence from NHL game against Arizona a ‘mental reboot’

Russian forward for the Washington Capitals Evgeny Kuznetsov will miss the regular season game National Hockey League (NHL) with the Arizona Coyotes, said the head coach of the capital team Spencer Carbery.

The meeting will take place Monday in Tempe, it could be the 700th for the 31-year-old Russian in the NHL.

— Lately, Kuznetsov just hasn’t been able to find his game. “We think this is a good opportunity for him to take a step back, reboot mentally and focus on getting his game back up to par. of which he is capable,” journalist Tariq el-Bashir quoted Carbery as saying on his social media page.

Kuznetsov played in 19 regular season matches this season, scoring four goals and providing five assists.
