Russian goalkeeper “Tampa” Andrei Vasilyevsky summarizes the victorious match with “Dallas” (4:0) in regular season NHL .
The Russian, playing his fifth match this season after returning to action due to injury, stopped 25 shots and kept a clean sheet for the first time in the championship. At the end of the meeting, he was recognized as the second star.
– This is the first match where I felt comfortable. Obviously, during the last meetings, I didn’t have anything to be particularly happy about, it was quite difficult. Today the whole team played well and we got a good result,” Vasilevsky said on the official NHL website.
Previously, Vasilevsky played in matches with Carolina (8:2), Colorado (1:4), Pittsburgh (2:4) and Dallas (1:8), when he missed six goals and refused to leave the ice at the request of the coach during the second period.
