Russian attacker “Washington” Evgeny Kuznetsov said he expects to return to the team during regular season play with “Dallas” .
Earlier, Capitals head coach Spencer Carbery called Kuznetsov’s absence during the game against Arizona (0:6) a “mental reset.”
“I feel like I want to kill someone today, in a good way (laughs),” Sammy Silber quoted Kuznetsov as saying.
The meeting between Washington and Dallas will take place on December 7.
Kuznetsov played in 19 regular season matches this season, scoring four goals and providing five assists.
