“I don’t know what to answer. I’m trying to be like Ovechkin,” Kucherov said according to The Hockey News.
In the match against Pittsburgh, Nikita Kucherov scored 2 (1+1) points for his performance and managed to extend his assist streak to 11 games, which is a new record in Tampa. This season, in 26 regular season games, the 30-year-old Russian has scored 44 (17+27) points in the goal+assist system and is the leader in the scoring race throughout the NHL.
Alexander Ovechkin is the captain of the Washington Capitals. The Russian forward has been playing in the NHL since 2005 and is currently the second-ranked sniper in league history with 827 goals.
