Former head coachVitiaz” Alexander Zavialov has joined the technical staff of Siberia, reports the press service of the Novosibirsk hockey club.
On Tuesday, David Nemirovski left his post as head coach of Sibir “due to the team’s unsatisfactory results.” Sergei Krivokrasov was named interim head coach.
Zavyalov was previously a member of the coaching teams of Torpedo, Ak Bars, Traktor, Neftekhimik and Amur. He became Vityaz’s head coach in the offseason, but was fired during the regular season.
After 40 matches played, the Novosibirsk club is eighth in the Eastern Conference standings, with 41 points.
