Romain Rotenberg won the 100th victory in matches of the Fonbet KHL Championship as head coach of St. Petersburg SKA reports the club’s press service.
On Thursday, SKA defeated Chelyabinsk Traktor with a score of 3:1 in a regular season away match. Borna Rendulic, Vladimir Alistrov and Alexander Nikishin scored goals for the winners, while Artem Blazhievsky scored for the home team.
Rotenberg, 42, was appointed head coach of SKA on January 4, 2022. Under his leadership, the St. Petersburg club twice reached the Western Conference final.
SKA with 51 points occupies fifth place in the Western Conference standings; In the next match, the army team will host Sochi on December 19.
